cuetec bow tie tip tool

Hi Guys,
I'm going to have a go at retipping my cue. The last tip got very flat and I reshaped it perfectly using my wife's very fine nail emmery file.
Now it's time to take the plunge and retip.
I've seen the cuetec bow-tie tip tool online and wondered if any of you have any experience with this.

very good tool, I keep it in my case and is useful when ive just changed my tip

Hi, re-tipped my cue. Instead of putting the glue on the on wood ferrule side, I put it on the tip itself to avoid getting glue on the ferrule. The hardest part of the whole excercise is to get the tip centred. I didn't so it took me quite a while to shape afterwards
Anyway, I went and played and to my relief, the tip didn't fall off. Victory !
