    Thanks Throtts, I will definitely do that. A Thousand Pound cue should be absolutely spot on... no excuse!!!!!

      I see a lot of T W cues for sale that are way overpriced aswell . In the current climate people will have a job to sell them . I,ve sold a pair of Trevs for the same price as some are asking for one and that was when the market was good .

        Looks to me like the top macassar splices are opening up as well, clear splice line can be seen on the first pic.

            Sounds to me like the wood they are using is far too young or cheap ?? Even the best glues cannot stop a piece of new timber going AWOL !! That mis-match near the joint is just a school-boy error

              Looks like a reflection to me as in the first pic the badge is face up, there's other pics with it in similar positions and the line isn't visible. The pic with the butt on the cue towel id say it would be visible if it was a split.
