I Had a bad batch last week (beef n onion ) had to take a swifty to the Gents lol !!! Seriously though , I am seriously thinking of giving it a chance !! Now I know others have used it !!

African Blackwood is also thought to be the woods originally called ebony as far back as the Egyptians, that it's where the earliest recorded use of word ebony also originated.
It is also very tough on cutting blade which require constant sharpening while working it, and if you get a knarly bit with erratic grain you really have your work cut out. One of the top hardest woods in the world...

this is one of the first cues i made with blackwood. i prefer it to ebony if im honest. the grain shows through and makes for a more interesting cue.
