  • question for cue makers

ive been thinking of having the butt thinned on my cue, currently, 29 3/4mm
thinking taken down to 29 or slightly less

would this affect the stiffness of the shaft in anyway? or what other effects could this have on the cue

    thanks for all replys

no mate wouldnt think so,all changing butt size will do is make a nats lighter and maybe how you handle a bit

You have obviously bought a new cue with a thicker butt ?? What splces/veneers does it have ?? Also does it have a makers badge ??

It will move the balance point a bit forward. Might cause splicework to go out of line if it is currently level. Should not causes the shaft to lose any stiffness however.
