I read all the answers to this post with great interest < I dont **** on anybodies chips but certain theories are clearly wide of the mark and after speaking to Ebay , it seems that they dont hide potential bidders in *** way at all and havent done so since TV,s had valves , Ebay would not confirm that the three bidders were connected to the same Internet addy but they were pleased that I had brought the topic up with them !!! I also tested the theory on something else I am bidding on and it clearly shows that some people on here are up their own Harris lol

The only time you do, is when you yourself are selling something, then you do see them, so you can check out their history etc

Deluded I can accept thanks mate . But the suggestion of drugs is very out of order . Call me a nutty old craftsman by all means or a crafty malt drinker but drugs are for fools that couldnt make a sandwich without help PS:
Feel sorry for people that dont drink !! When they get up in the morning they know thats the best they are Gonna feel all day lol ....

A warning for all those who bid early, I recently sold a cue where my high bidder retracted straight after placing his bid, this left me knowing exactly what my second highest bidder was prepared to go up to (which was a lot more than the cue was worth), I could have quite easilly got someone to bid it up to it's max, and i'm sure there are people out there that abuse this loophole!
I have also had a lot of second chance offers on cues where it is clear they've bid the item up as they are usually within an hour of the auction ending! To me the second chance offer should be set at your highest bid before the winning bidder started bumping it up?No one is listening until you make a mistake!
