  • Is this a fake Parris

I'm no expert on cues, but having seen this 'Traditional' cue on ebay

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1211056287...84.m1438.l2649

is it me and my limited knowledge or is the butt 'too long' for a Traditional?

Well a standard Parris butt is 16" so no it's not too long, what is wrong with it tho is Traditional's are usually one piece or centre split, so this must have been jointed later in life maybe.

The actual traditional butt in 1 piece form is 17.5", so looks odd that the piece he's referring to as the butt is 15.5, that's not including the splicing which would make it over 20", which for a traditional is 2.5 inches too long.

That being said the wood looks correct, just the lengths don't match up for what I'm assuming is meant to be a 1 piece that was later jointed.

yeap looks ok, just a normal 3/4 jointed cue made with tradtional splicing. once bought an ultimate in the same splicing from a member on here.
