Best new £350 cue?

This is probably a stupid question but what makes one cue worth so much more then another one? I purchased a Juan Ying on ebay complete with mini extension and screw in telescopic extension plus case. All for $130 including shipping.

Thanks, but I just got a nice S/H John Parris Classic cue so managed to put a few notes back in the wallet - Nice and plain - Just the way I like a cue to be. Feels lovely in the hand.

Is that a Maple one Humpy?, I bought one to sell on, played about twenty mins with it, I had to put it away or I would have kept it, it felt fantastic, the best cue I had ever held by a long way (I've not held many though).

You could consider GBL cues from Greenbaize

That would be my choice. A nice GBL. I received my GBL C4 this past Monday which was ordered to fit. Has a great feel to it and Stu Green is awesome to deal with.

Hope that cue is spot on for you Humpy, I know there has been good and bad said about Parris cues, but the one I had was an absolute beauty, I didn't even take the specs on it for future reference.

I sold it after realising I could play as well or better with my £60 Chinese cue

Lol, typical, I always wondered what all the fuss was about over expensive cues until I used that Parris one, but at the end of the day if it doesn't suit you , it doesn't suit you.
