Thinking of orderind a cue from dunns, custom cue made to order, anybody got any dealings with this cue maker.
Any comments would be much appreciated.

Their pricing has changed somewhat since lot's of people in the U.K have been buying them. For a little more you could have one made here in the U.K by the likes of MAC cues. And maybe even a plain ebony Andy Travis cue would come close to the budget

Dunns are made in China (not that that makes them inferior cues...)
Neither MAC cues or Andy Travis have websites (as yet) but both are on here.
Andy has a thread in the Cues section (Andy Travis Latest), has a look there for previous works and possibly his email (you cannot PM until you have over 10 posts).
MAC cues are from Richy MacDonald who is also on here as The Doctor, do a search and you will probably find a few piccies to enjoy
all the best in your cue hunt

All Britannia cue are China made cues.
400pounds for a Britiannia cue? you might as well get it from Dunns cues, all those cues are come from the same place.
Why i know? because I am from Duuns cues.

adr has been out late most of the weekend! - i can't say for sure who does what and at what stage but based on the cues themselves the top britannia steel cues are likely made in thailand and the basic models in china for sure the quality of the top britannia cues is much much higher than the dunns cues i have seen.

Remember tho that the Dunns cues are nearly a third cheaper....

than which though? i guess in the end each cue must be judged on its own merit.

all the Britania snooker cues ranging 195pounds or above, made in china.
Does it matter where it is made? No.
                            Compare them:

no i don'tcare where they are made as long as they are good.

they look very similar i must admit but with different joints etc it is not the same cue - the mini butts are the same though
