  • Green Plate prices?

Had the opportunity to try one out this weekend and was wondering what is the price of one of these?
Have to say the cue itself was a stunner but had a bad tip and not so nice design plus it was way too stiff for my liking..

Around £650 for a plain ebony.. More depending on splices..

£650 for plain ebony is very expensive and you would only really get that much in the far east not in UK or europe. The value of the cue depends on a few different things, is it a Will Hunt green plate? Hunt & o'byrne green plate, Osborne green plate or Hunt & Osborne green plate? The specs will help determine its value too, if its standard sorta spec it will be worth more than 1 with out of the ordinary specs. Also if it is a new Will Hunt green plate then they are worth a lot less as they are made in Thailand and only finished by him

But they were made up to about 10 or 11 years ago I believe. I could be off abit.

The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

It was Osborne green plate, 1 piece and with single decorative splice.

Thanks Wayne G, I saw 336 on the butt, meaning the black plate come with serial numbers, interesting.

If you are lucky enough to get one from Robert , you are looking at £650 plus depending on splices . My mannock style one was slightly more expensive .
