  • Cue suggestions in the £100-£180 range?

Looking to get my own cue, but I have little knowledge on what to really look for.

As per the title, I'm not looking to spend thousands, but still obviously need a decent one.

Any suggestions? I suppose I don't mind buying used either, if that's the better alternative.

EDIT: Need to able to have it with me, so a one-piece won't do.

Top end of £180 will get you a nice phoenix cue in the master range. As good a cue as you can get for the money. Personally wouldn't bother looking at anything else as nothing else for that money can touch phoenix cues IMO.

I'd say you can get a 'better' cue, for the same money secondhand. 'Better', would be subjective, but a well looked after, but older cue, will still do the job.

Thanks guys, I'll have a look at the suggestions.

RE 2nd hand on eBay: How in earth can I make sure it's been taken good care of? And what is "good care" for snooker cues?

            Excuse my ignorance.

Interesting. Don't suppose you have any pictures?

                        Questions -- what is:

                        - pb1?
                        - "includes mini" - is that an extension?
