  • How many cues ?

Was wondering how many cues do you have and do you always play with one or if you have more do you play with both :snooker::snooker::snooker:

    I have three
an old one that I have had for many, many years but do not play with anymore
    1x snooker cue (Dan Shelton 1pc, 57.5, 9.5, 18) play 2x/week
1x pool cue (JP Special altered by Dan Shelton 3/4, 57.25, 8.2, 17.75) play 2x/week

Currently have 8, (but just put one on ebay tonight ), only play with one cue when playing a serious match (the unbadged one), but all others get used on a rotation basis whilst practicing/casual play.

Currently 3, a Mannock that's not a playing cue, a burwat champion that is a nice player but I don't use it anymore, and a sinbin MW which is my playing cue. The champions on the for sale forum currently.

For me it is "the one", shaft and weight/balance just suit me perfect, only thing missing is a badge, of which i am working on !!
Edit, by the way it is a Mike Wooldridge sinbin cue

Threaten to fit a Parris badge, that should upset Mike enough that he'll fit you one!

                      My kinda thread!

I have 5 cues now of which I use 3 of them fairly frequently, though the other 2 I take out from time to time as well. Like JRC I have 1 that is a main match playing cue though its the last cue I bought, a 1 pc phoenix master which I seem to have adapted too better than any cue I've previously used and I've had them all down the years! I have another phoenix a 3/4 joint which is also a nice player and my old Parris traditional which I've had for over 16 years, these 2 cues are what I use mostly just to keep my familiarity with. I have a mastercraft and a Mac cue as the two other cues but I've never really adapted to these as well as the others.

Have a JPU on order since September but I'm probably looking at this time next year as a realistic timeframe of when that will be ready.

                        I currently have 4:

JP professional 3/4 which is my snooker playing cue (58", 9.5mm, 18.25 oz)
Tony Glover triple spliced hornbeam which is my pool playing cue (58.25", 8.25mm, 17 oz)
two unbadged multi-spliced cues which I have lent to friends as I don't use them.

I also have a one piece Jason Owen cue on order.
