I've asked Dave coutts through pm here, I've emailed andy travis and I'm waiting on replies. I may email Trevor white about it too as I'm waiting for something to be delivered from him at the moment anyway so I could ask about that too. If any other cue makers see this thread please let me know if you are interested in doing the work and what the rough estimate is. Cheers

I could do it for you, I have some beautiful elm burr that would do the facing splice with a thin maple veneer behind it.
Cost would be £220 delivered.
If interested email me richy1471@hotmail.com

Dave said he could do a front splice of something for me possibly with a veneer so I left the choice up to him, he knows I like amboyna and Thuya burr so I'm intrigued to see what he decides hopefully something beautiful. The shaft looks amazing and I know Dave does great work, he is the best cuemaker in the world at the moment, so says robin cook and I trust his opinion so I cannot wait to see the finished article. I've requested Dave get the specs as close as possible to my Trevor white cue which is 57.5" 18oz 9.5mm 29.5mm butt diameter 17"balance point77 in a match, 97 in a line up
