  • Cue Maintenance and Re-Tipping

I was just wondering what people's suggestions were on cue maintenance. I have ordered a new cue which should be arriving this week and wondered what I would have to do to keep my cue in top conditions.

Also would like to know how to shape the cue into an ideal condition.

Is there any sort of re-tipping service in the Cumbria area that anybody knows of?

    Regards

    Marc

The only thing you need to do to a well finished cue, is wipe it with a dry cloth after use, then if you find it getting a bit sticky get a lightly damp cloth give it a good wipe and dry buff it straight away.

As for tips your really better learning how to change and shape them yourself, better to practice on an old cue for a few attempts before you decide to change your pride and joy, here's a guide if you follow it you can't go wrong...

You can get your cue re tipped at the Portland club in Carlisle for a couple of pound.
