riley burwat cues

im looking to buy new cue and seen the riley burwat range of cues they look good. anyone own one they good cue...cheers

Never owned one but a lad in my pool league had a top of the platinum range cues and it wasn't great, the butts are ebonised not real ebony and it was heavily varnished. I used to play pool with a Riley Paul Hunter comerative cue butt on that was just painted, after taking off the varnish though it was a good playing cue, solid shaft so the burwat range might be good playing cues, once they've been re-finshed that is! For the price though you could get a good machine spliced cue from Craftsman or message adr147 on here and he'll sort you out with a cracking cue
