Hiho,
I just started playing snooker properly and have got into the habit of going to the club 2,3 or even 5 times a week. I picked up my dad's cue, which i imagine hasnt been used in over 10 years. The cue is fine itself, but i noticed that the shaft of the cue is a lot smoother then the rest of cue, its lost/losing its shine and its finish then the rest of the cue. I've read around a bit and have heard about linseed oil, to like polish the cue ? or put some sort of finish on it ?
I'd just like a bit more information on whether i should use linseed oil or whatever, im not eintirely sure of the whole process and so i have no idea what im doing. Should i be using something else? If not should how i be applying it, and would i need anything? Some advice would be great,
Thanks guys
