Cue Bruising

Thanks for getting involved mike,
Its only happened on a few cues so far but they were some of the best hitters, so a bit annoying. I do remember it happening a few years ago on the bridge end of my playing cue and I just about managed to disguise it with house hold bleach. Do you know of a prevention or cure if this happens again?

putting something on the wood that soaks in and highlights differences in, i don't know, let's call it density or cell alignment. or something.

i don't think you can cure something that is in the wood structure. just avoid anything that might add colour or soak in and highlight it more.

Go it.
The cues a real nice hitter with all the moves, so I feel its worth the effort. I've just glued up the butterfly splice today and I'll put some more pics round completion.
