After months of trying to get on with diff. cues, I've finally decided to stick with the above cue, from Trevor.
I've had this cue since Sept 2011 and to my shame I've only used it a handful of times.. This all changed for me, back in June this year when I saw Del Hill for a 1hr coaching 'sesh at his farm. Within 2mins he had spotted what I was doing wrong and another 15 had me cueing SWEET. The upshot of all this is, I can now pretty much play well with any of the cues I have ( inc. this TW ). It was all down to me and the bad habits I'd picked up.. again.. shameful really.
I made a 126 back in early July, just a week or so after seeing Del, the guy is a legend. I fluffed a tricky black for 133, but after my stroke in March 2012 I REALLY thought I'd never hit the ball sweet again.
Thank you to Del for putting me right and thank you to Trevor for all the amazing cues you've made for me over the years. The pictures do not do this cue justice.. ( Sort it out Trevor, get a better camera m8! ). The ash's depth is 'just right' with a slight hint of redness in the shaft ( I'll try and take some better pictures down the line ).
