The two bloodwood ones have gone too. One of them, my old playing cue, has gone to a very happy fellow ton player who knows what a good snooker cue is..
    Thanks again

Oh by the way they went at 40-60 to players wanting a good cue at a good price.
So i was right about the value, well closer than you lol
You should try finding some cheap hand spliced cues, then do them up, more profit in them i would imagine

I feel a bit sad seeing this, not that its a good cue or will be a good cue but, It means that the buzzards have been tearing away at another club-corpse.

I like the dark front splice on it, very subtle, my old cues get a Tuesday night workout, i have a '32 Lindrum and one of my Burwats that play really well

Yeah it is sad, quite often cues are advertised as "found in my Grandad's house" or whatever, maybe should be kept as a momento

No you were not right sorry. You said you've never seen the single sliced once before..
And yes they went easy through word of mouth because they were carved out by a century break maker and a craftsman, who knows what a snooker cue should feel and play like.

If you live near enough to Craftsman cues at Kippax its worth a visit. Dave usually has some older/vintage cues in the racks to " try before you buy ". He has two tables , snooker & pool , he is happy for you to test cues before purchase ( as long as you dont extract it ) .If you find a cue you like , but its not quite perfect , Dave could even alter it to suit.Phone first to see what he has in stock and whether it is worth the journey or not.

generally unless you know what you are doing it is safer to buy a newer cue to play with (i would have something i expect. ) - that cannon match looks a good buy though!

There are cues new and old, with great names on them or there off the club wall, that are rubbish. Bit like buying win.
