Suppose someone will recognise the maker by the weight stamp, but probably a guess as which model it is, obviously a square badged cue, but who nicked the front splice

dont look a long enough flat jim for a s/smith cue BUT is it me or is that a different timber to the ash? if so could be a s/smith

I might be being a right moron, but could it have possibly been a round butt thats been planed down to add the chamfer and the amateur who did it went too far? Possibly being an imbecile here haha

doubt it, can see the holes from the square badge. Bet, someone lost the badge then planed down the splice to then re-splice it without adding a badge. Looks like it was done with a toothed blade, so could have been a burr splice.

deffo been re touched to me, you can see where the badge went originally ( screws) but missing the front splice.

I hate playing guess the cue, it really is a fruitless exercise, you're never going to know for sure.
however, if you're looking for a short dumpy front splice and long badge - my vote, for he little it's worth, is for a Tom Reece cue.
