Hi,
I have ordered a new cue and have had a tough time deciding between a single piece or a 3/4th. I have finally decided on a 3/4th because convenience is an issue! However, I wish there was a way to make it look like a single piece. For me, the golden joint just breaks the continuity of the beauty of a cue. My new cue is handmade with ash shaft and plain ebony rounded butt. Is there a way to make the golden joint look like ebony (or close) by painting it or some other means? I know about the Mike Wooldridge F1 joint (Black Legend Cue) but its a little outside my budget. Has anyone tried to do something like this?
Thanks.
