I thought being an early model made by John himself would go for a higher price.
what work would be in order for the cue?

Well if the state of the joints are anything to go by, the shaft may need re finishing too, or at least a very good oiling

Actually i'm sure adr said these sort of cues could maybe reach £800 in good condition, but this one isn't at the moment, so surely a fair bit less ??

I still can't work out how the joints got to be in such a state !! i mean has it been left out in a damp garage or something ????

There's no way of knowing if it was made by jp himself was this cue a early ultimate or is this a seperate line of cues with there own numbers .
Just interested because I have seen lots of ultimates but never seen one with the number below 100
If this is a early ultimate at what time did parris start putting ultimate on the badge if it isn't does anyone know what year parris made is 1st
Ultimate with the badge they use today.

i sold a mint one for £800 about a year ago so i am going to guess it will fetch around £600, £100 spent with john would make it a very nice cue.
