I use linseed oil that is used for mixing with oil paint from the art supplies shop. Its clearer and leaves a nice smooth sheen.

I went to hardware shops, supermarkets, and etc around here in Malaysia and couldnt find any linseed oil, or tung oil or danish oil. Perhaps they named these oil with other names...

Linseed oil may also be called flax or flaxseed oil

also, i think all danish oil is made with tung oil. could be wrong about that though...

all oil finishes benefit from patience...

I would love to try your "liquid gold" , Mike. But it shows "SOLD OUT" at your website currently. So, just wonder when can I get 1 from you, huh...?

I've tried to look at ADR147's eBay site, but couldn't see any of it.

I'd be too embarrassed to walk into a sex shop and ask if they had any lube suitable for snooker cues ... they'd probably think I'm a pervert or something

However, this electricians' stuff works pretty well and you don't get any funny looks when you buy it

It does come in that form too, pure Raw Linseed oil is sold in health shops as a supplement. Best bet is to just buy either Linseed or danish oil on ebay
