Butt is far too thin for most people, lovely looking cue tho, even if not genuine
He wants £600 for quick sale, i guess someone will buy it

Just a thought guys this must be another heavily altered Hunt & O'Byrne cue on Ebay
          http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hunt-Obyrn...item19e0ed9782
The butt is sub 30mm and Hunt & O'Byrne never made butts below that diameter!
I stand by my original opinion of the TW_T who made that statement without any evidence to back it up!

I totally agree with you, having owned a couple that I had bought from new and then you get the VAT less TW_T making pointless remarks!

The seller says and I quote Will Hunt fitted an SD joint nothing about it being doctored.
Now this is what you said TW-T
well the cue with that badge would have been made in the mid 1980s' most would have had no flats at all unless a special order because that was the way jimmy's cue was - when they had flats they were different and shorter than this one. not many people would ever buy a £450 cue in the 80's and then spend £100+ having 4 splices added to it in ebony unless they needed to lengthen it. the fashion has never been to have a cue but at 26mm it would be rare now and anything under 30 would have been extremely odd prior to the 1990's.

Knowing the whole history of the cue makes me wonder 1. why. 2. That you are full of SH_T!!
79K is the freshold that's turnover!

Firstly referring to people as a TW-T is how one gets banned under the terms of the website, it is also jolly rude.

why, because i know who he bought it from and he clearly states that it was modified in his ebay advert. what have I said that is not correct there?

You mean the threshold for VAT? yes I am aware of it.
I don't think I made any negative comments.
