Lmao, there was a venue in the consett league that was like that, little 6ft table stuck between two pillars, you could barely get your body in nevermind your cue lol, the small pockets make it interesting when your still playing with 2" balls

you little poser Dave ... I've got a Welsh Pool cue that does that - the telescopic mini-butt can fit the butt socket or the shaft but I don't use it to play UK pool ... I use my much cheaper Cannon Scorpion 3 piece for pool ...

probably mostly because it's got a rubber bung up it's butt (unlike the one with the butt socket) so I can tap my cue on the floor to acknowledge a good shot by my opponent without fear of damaging it ...
Haha Mastercraft make their 3/4 cues that way anyway. My snooker cue is the same, newer Barracuda Kirkham, I got one of those butt protecter things off ebay for the butt socket on my pool cue :-P

lol I've played match's in right funny old places over the years, one that still brings a smile to my face is a pub called The Old Lord Raglan, they have a 6ft table in there, you was just about ok breaking off each side of the table is just under 4ft of space and at the top if you was cueing off the top rail you had to put your cue through stair way banister! to play a shot, never seen anything like it I had to laugh lol

ooh ... double poser, you're making me really jealous now, bet the girls love you when you take your butt protector off and fit your mini-butt

more seriously, Paul (aka Bitter on TSF) from Welsh Pool Trading never admitted where the cues he sold came from but I've long suspected it was Mastercraft ... he openly said he didn't make them but he wouldn't say who did ... I don't actually care, he's not on the forum any longer but he was a really nice and helpful guy and I love my Welsh Pool Trading "Welsh Dragon" cue ...

if you're ever anywhere near Staines-upon-Thames you must pop in Dave ... my local pub has a table to challenge even your formidable array of tools ... it's hampered in places (which you'll quickly find out as I try to place the white there) and it's got a terrible roll towards one pocket (but I'm not saying which one) ...

oh, and it's got a hard wooden floor in case you forget your butt protector

Haha I was led to believe his cues were made by Mastercraft also but that was just hearsay, from what I've heard they're really good cues. there's a table in the Prudhoe league that the roll is so bad the balls horseshoe back on themselves, I'm not joking its so bad as soon as you hit the white it starts snaking, even at medium pace, its impossible to play well on

I've had a mini butt with my pool spec "TW" for years, extremely handy, especially with it being able to screw into the shaft for those tight areas.

When you've had six of the black stuff, your playing some old boot who's tying up the table and you need to squirt one.
