    Looks great . . .

    Keep up the good work!

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
    I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

Ash shaft, but you already knew that

The butt is a harder one to guess, it's South American Iron Wood reclaimed from an old mill floor in Downpatrick, County Down +200 years old, very hard, hardest wood I've ever hand planed, felt like I was planning glass but beautiful deep brown colour once oiled up, it was worth the effort although my hand planes might say otherwise could they talk!

      More to follow ....
not usually keen on inlays on snooker cues (makes them looking like US-pool-sticks :shiver but that is very nice. Was it customer design of his initials (I assume) or left to your devices?
      Up the TSF! :snooker:

Yes Dean, customers initials and I made a few designs and let him choose before cutting.

That looks a really good standard considering your only really starting out, can i ask what you would charge for a 3/4 plain ebony with ash shaft? If you want to Private message back that's no problem. Thanks

No scroll saw Tommy, although I have one it can be too harsh for narrow designed inlays like letters so instead used a coping saw with very fine blades to cut the shape and files to remove any jaggies and mother of pearl plate that was 1.5 mm thick for some extra strength while cutting.
I fitted the inlay after the cue was finished but before oiling, drew outline round the shape and cut out with scalpel and dremel, fairly straightforward.
Real shell and not laminate should always be used for this type of inlay, it's stronger and finishes better.
