Played a fella at billiards this week ,I am pretty sure he had a TW, cue , it was lying on the next table , I had just spotted it and was going for a nose when we got called to play so I didn't get a great look but I'm sure I caught site of the badge, I said to myself I would ask him at the end for a look see, but I forgot, it was a beautifully made who ever made it.

Maybe we should have a thread, where if you find a bargain put it up, with a disclaimer saying it's nothing to do with you.

I play with an omin, and have always thought, how can a cue look any better, it's only wood and a bit of polish lol, but this thing made mine look like fire wood, the quality of workmanship and the finish on it were, well it's hard to describe unless you saw it. It was genuinely a thing of beauty. And he thumped me at billiards the old git lol.

The first one was from a member of my team lol.

Not sure ill check on any events mate. I pot a lot but I don't feel you are breaking any code, the rules state 15 hazards buddy, what I never try to do is pot an opponents cue ball to win, in our league the older ones hate this, it's like winning without playing a true billiards shot. Do what I do play your own game, if your opponents tut when you pot, bloody pot more. They may feel it's disrespectful to constantly pot, but it's a lot more disrespectful to comment on your opponents game during a match, for practice just constantly practice the half ball over and over get a shot 10 times in a row, then change it.

Our number one who can play it properly, showed me the half ball in off from the reset, plus the half ball off the red with white near middle, and red on black spot and the in off with white below red on black spot, are there any other ones?

This website is great for learning billiards:

                              Basic skills

                              http://www.englishbilliards.org/basicBilliardsPhase

                              Advanced skills

                              http://www.englishbilliards.org/advancedBilliardsPhase

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                              I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)
