agreed that shrinkage is common - best method would be a new badge.

In the pictures this cue looks like a hand spliced cue ?? The badge is from a machine spliced cue or am I wrong ?? Or did they produce two cues same badge ? T

The cue is handspliced, don't recall seeing that badge on a machine spliced cue ???
I had one a while ago with a proper badge

Been in the antique industry for 40 yrs and although not specifically old cues I get feelings about items !! So I ask questions . I just suggested that the badge does not look right !! Shrinkage ?

You see this kind of shrinkage all the time, there was a chap selling 6-7 cues from India (mostly Peradon cues), and all had shrunken badges. It must be the type of plastic used at that time.

The 138 on eBay used to be mine, I can confirm its in great condition -I don't recall it being a great playing cue though, but each to their own.
