Hi guys, new here and pretty new to snooker (usually golf but this last few months with weather and injuries my main playing partner has gotten me into it as an alternative!).
I've been trying to research a decent starter cue as the ones at the club vary a fair bit so I'd like my own - lots of the posts like this one here are very old of course but I ended up ordering a Mark Richard 3/4 cue yesterday as a seemingly good balance of quality/price. Ash with Ebony butt, added a 9.5mm Elkmaster tip, with extensions, case and 10% discount about £150 all in. Seems as good as any similar (we'll see!). As has been mentioned it seems many of these Chinese cues are churned out under varying "Insert English Name" badges and just to confirm beyond any doubt - I placed the order yesterday evening and this morning have a tracking number originating in China. 😄
