Its a totally different market. China is a BIG market, take it from someone from asia.
Why would you think a lot of the cue makers i.e Robert Osborne are exporting his blackplates over there and the others are overwhelmed with orders. They buy ulitmates, TW, Robin cook etc in bulk.
There is also reason why they wont' bat an eyelid dropping the few thousand pounds for a cue, being from the fact that every since China opened it's doors to the outside world, there are many people turning into millionaires everyday and their children now in the teens and early adulthood has money to BURN!
Hmm apparently he thinks he will get more than £2750 for this cue, either he is totally insane or there are some incredibly gullible buyers out there, probably in Hong Kong !!!
thanks for another racist snipe - but having money and willing to dish it out for an early edition black plate does not equate to being gullible. and china is the largest market for premium cues now, not hong kong

That certainly wasn't racist as far as I'm concerned.
I think he was saying they must have more money than sense because you could buy one cheaper.

Sorry to butt in, but there is nothing racist in jrc's comment imo, just stating a fact that people in the far east tend to pay over the odds for cues, can't say anything these days without the racist card coming into play...

Couldn't agree more, nothing racist at all about jrc's posts, far too easy to throw the racist card around. Frankly its pathetic!

Lol your pathetic mate, if you see that as racist you need to seek help!!!
Just because you have money doesn't mean you have to lose control of your brain and get RIPPED off. Cue probably made in Thailand anyway, so worth £350 ish
