Its a totally different market. China is a BIG market, take it from someone from asia.
Why would you think a lot of the cue makers i.e Robert Osborne are exporting his blackplates over there and the others are overwhelmed with orders. They buy ulitmates, TW, Robin cook etc in bulk.
There is also reason why they wont' bat an eyelid dropping the few thousand pounds for a cue, being from the fact that every since China opened it's doors to the outside world, there are many people turning into millionaires everyday and their children now in the teens and early adulthood has money to BURN!

Just because you have money doesn't mean you have to lose control of your brain and get RIPPED off. Cue probably made in Thailand anyway, so worth £350 ish
