Hi, everyone, to start off with, i would like to say that i understand at the end of day, there is no perfect cue, only there is more comfortable cue that suits oneself regardless of cue length, weight and tip size. questions below are really looking for more professional or technical answers. many thanks.
could anyone please tell me what exactly does cue weight have effects on? Does lighter cue give more control and heavier ones or a heavier one gives one slighter more cue power? or Is it the balance of the cue more important?
besides, physically, what effects does the size of tip have on cue ball? Is it true that smaller the tip, more spin you can get on the cue ball, thus sometimes it is harder to control, whereas with bigger tip, you don't have to be so accurate, but the spin will more difficult to create when you need to.
Finally, another important question. Is one piece cue better than joined cue? and is three quarter joined cue better than center joined cue? I honesty want to buy a center joined cue because it is easier to carry around, but i don't want to lose the advantage that a one piece might or might not have because of this. what effects does cue length have on someone's play? Why would some profesional players grab their cue so far away from the butt? instead, why don't they just use a much shorter cue?
I would love to hear any advice. thanks in advance.
