So why have deliberately misleading badges produced? Particularly as these two makers cues are frequently fetching the biggest prices on ebay.

Plus he had one cue for £110 buy it now, so clearly wasn't trying to rip anybody off

I just feel sorry for future owners of this cue as I don't think it will always be sold as 'not genuine'. I get embarassed for people

Can't see what the problem is?!!! I can its fraud pure and simple. You can't go copying a name badge and then adding it to a cue as if there is nothing wrong. I'll tell you what, go and do that and recreate a rolex submariner homage watch and stick a rolex symbol and name on it and see how quickly you get sued for! Even if you do sell it for a fraction of the cost, you are copying a trademarked name or logo, ergo its illegal!

If cues were worth a lot more money then JP would be taking these people to court and suing them without a shadow of a doubt. In fact in princiapl he should do it once just to set an example of someone, people would think twice about doing it in future.

Ok maybe i should back track a little, i meant no problem in this particular case, as he clearly states not genuine and priced cue accordingly
I'm not saying it is a good thing to do in general, the person who supplies the badges is the one at fault

I agree that the bloke producing the badges should rethink what he is willing to produce but knowingly putting one of these badges on cue leaves the seller also at fault in my eyes.

The badges are absolutely terrible though!

These statements only occur on the 1st selling of the cue though. Anyone selling them on further

may not be so open about it.

By setting out to badge the cues with discs of top cue makers, these cues will give anyone trying them an impression of

the quality of these cuemakers, that will be well below what they actually produce. IMHO of course.

I suspect Tommo will still like the JP though.

He doesn't clearly say there not genuine well not the 1st cue anyway he says I doubt its genuine he knows full well there not as he
Bought the fake badges himself. There probably both cheap chinese cues that would sell for £30/40 but now he's put those badges in
Some mug as given him a ton the s;eller knows what he's doing and it is fraud.
