It is not just ebay where you can get good bargains.
Check out this cue for only $1000.

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

I don't know what's going on with these Chinese cues on eBay, some are fifty quid, then later on same cues thousand pound!, what's the point in even listing items at that price, do you get it for nowt if no one bids ?( sorry not very good on eBay rules)This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

Antique 1700's John Snooke Billiard MACE Pool Table Ball Cue
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-1700...item4619c4bd7f
US$4,000.00
"Antique mid to late 1700's Billiard Mace. Inscribed with a prior owner's name, John Snooke. In 1830, Francois Mingand invented the pool cue tip, but prior to 1830 all billiard balls were pushed and pulled around the billiard table using a mace. This particular mace was purchased from Sothebys in England. Strikingly similar to maces shown in the Billiard Encyclopedia at the Weingarten museum....It has the provenance of the prior owners inscription on the rosewood. Could he possibly be the originator of the game Snooker? Extremely rare, once in a lifetime offering."My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
