I think its really difficult to know what you are going to buy, sometimes trust is a bad thing, I am on ebay a lot and if buying from someone with low or zero feedback think they should post before you pay, shame about fees but paypal is a reasonable form of defence, and at very least you should have sellers address so at least you can go round and kick their teeth in
