  • ***Attention Cuemakers***

Not too long ago a 150 foot and year old redwood tree was felled in the grounds where I live, I've now spoken to the land owners and they're willing to let me have some bits of it, not sure yet on exactly how much etc.

The catch? I'd like those interested to make me a cue please? I'll even deliver the wood to you.

    Will post some pictures tomorrow.

Bringing a tree to the cue maker now there is a thought -though I can see problems with these types of ideas

It would need to be dried fully before being suitable for anything.

Yes, and it would be interesting to know how the tree should be cut initially, for getting the most out of it, drying, working/ turning..

Sorry to post such a negative comment but...This woudn't be any good for cue use, it will be too light and soft.

I'm sure it's very pretty though all the same.

I'm a newbiew - I know you're an old newbie!! - and had the same thing earlier in the Deliberate Foul thread.... that said I tried something a bit odd with the previous quotes option. I've also hit 10 posts and can see profiles so not sure if that has anything to do with it?
Wish I cued as consistently as this fella!
