Please not again this type of thread. This isn't a religion! Only a piece of wood.

You are 100% correct! the guy has an outrageously successful business and only his wanabee competitors are bitterly jealous.

have you seen the size of his premises? He'd be lucky to fit more than about 8 people in there. As I said he simply cannot meet the demand and sensibly I think he should either close the book on Ultimate orders, or better still be more up front and honest about waiting times.

When I ordered my cue the waiting time was 40-50 weeks for a 1pc. That for me was the terms under which I agreed to pay my deposit and timescale and I was prepared to wait.
Then he put that back to 12-15 months, 3 months later he updated the site again to 15-24 months and yet this still seems to be unrealistic because there are some people who have waited over that timescale.

The fact is he can't meet the demands anymore, they don't have the staff or a big enough shop and he is just adding more pressure to an overworked workforce and I think the quality will suffer for it.

think you need your own forum(people who have been taken in that you need to wait 2 years for a good cue) should be a good few members, that way the rest of us would not have to read about how pissed off you are that it takes that long!

                Hey Cueman,
You have obviously never had to run an International Business, if you can't handle the wait time than go to eBay and pay the premium price. LOL.

I ordered a 1 piece over a year ago. I'm not too fussed.

I hope the waiting time grows and grows... I'll be able to sell my cue on for what I paid plus a little extra for my wait I imagine.

I got a Paragon cue made about 19 years ago and the waiting time then was 15 months.

Sorry but I can't understand what this is all about. Just pick up the phone and give John a call. He will answer all questions. And on this occasion you will discover that he is just a nice guy making cues.

But if he doesn't answer himself at a guess you'll just get told to look at the faq part of the website.
