Those are genuine cue from jp147.Last year I asked robert Osborne is there anyway for me to get one of his cue, and he asked to refers to jp147 tao bao website. But the price on their website is too expensive , £1000-3000 for ro greenpkate/black plate.

can I ask how your new liquid gold is improved - what is different?

it's very very different. nothing at all wrong with original formula but i took on board some facts regarding drying time in particular and created a totally new mixture with additional ingredients.

to be clear, you can get a great finish with original stuff, as you can with lots of other different oils if you use them right, but it is often time consuming and requires quite a bit of patience and work. so i have added things that increase build with much faster drying time, and with massively improved moisture resistance.

suitable not only for cues of course, but for any high quality item that would benefit from this type of finish. guitars, pens, fine furniture, etc., etc..

honestly, the new liquid gold is an awesome product, and i absolutely love it.

since i am one of the people that got sent mikes oil during it's testing period i am pretty sure he mixes it himself. does he squeeze the plants himself... maybe not.

no, i just squeeze the suppliers for the best raw material prices

still bloody expensive to produce though, no corners cut with the quality of stuff i'm using.

btw, i think i mentioned that i changed the formula from what i sent you. much quicker, and far superior in my opinion.

1 shake well and apply with a clean cloth.
2 wipe off excess oil and leave to dry for 24 hrs
3 polish cue thoroughly with clean dry soft cloth
4 repeat if wood seems dry or as often as you like.
for use on bare wood only.

Cheers Andy, the way I read number four is you have to remove old finish, by stripping back down to the bare wood.
