Hi people,
I have just bought a Master Cue Special from a seller on ebay. Described to me personally as "As New" Condition.
When I received it i found that it had something rattling around in the butt, the weight isn't loose, its just something small, it is very annoying as you can hear it when you are cueing!
The seller has been far from helpful and is insisting that i must have damaged the cue, and is refusing to give me a refund.
After a lot of hard work and lengthy discussion, the seller has agreed that he will pay for a repair to the cue, but only if the cue is sent to Alan Day for the repair. (I have to pay postage I might add!)
As i am in the deepest depths of Cornwall, there are no Cue Makers / Repairers anywhere near me.
As the seller has been slightly obnoxious and not particularly amicable, I am slightly worried that if I use the address details that he has sent me, I may never see the cue or my money again.
So, to get to the point, if anyone has any contact details for Alan Day. I would greatly appreciate it if you could pass them on to me via a pm, or to my email address georgepeers@gmail.com
I just want to make sure the cue gets sent to the right place.
Also, a quick question about the Master Cue. The seller told me that the cue was less than a year old, I have seen many other Master Cues and they all have engraving in the joint. This one does not. Does that mean that this cue I have bought is a fake? Or do they just not engrave all of their joints?
Many Thanks for your help,
Regards,
George.
