Advice please regarding sweat and butt(ooh err) of my Andy Travis maple cue.

I think this is what some American cuemakers use on the butt of their cues and it's great stuff. The Thai cuemakers do it well too, they use French polish or piano polish (one and the same?) something like that. The grip this provides helps with feel IMO. In Uncle Vit or Terry could tell you more I think.

That's the exact finish I want like those lovely Thai(Phoenix, Master Cue, Maximus etc) cues have on their butt finishes.
That would help alot also looks great and feels good too in my opinion.
