Hi DAVE , you can find cue no 063 on jason owen web site gallery no 2. dont look right to me, it was a 1 peice and the shaft doesnt look the same,but photos can be deceptive

It looks to be a different shaft which suggests that the cue was perhaps damaged and has been jointed with a new shaft made/donated for the butt. The butt also seems to have taken a few knocks at the base too.

One to avoid in my eyes!

Cheers guys I've just looked it up on Jason's Facebook page and you are right the shaft is completely diff counted the chevrons think I will stay away

I just sent the guy a message thru ebay and this is the reply i got from him...

Yes mate it has I am selling it for a friend and I can't revise his listing as some1 bidded on the cue. It has a shaft made from craftsman cues

I messaged him also and got the same reply told him he could end it and relist the cue saying exactly what is wrong with it. How much so u think its worth now ??

Zilch! Terribly unfortunate things happen to cues and efforts can be made to repair them but there are never the same. My issue with this particular cue is that I believe they have taken a poor quality cue as a donor and made the repair resulting in a cue that is not to the standard that the original cue maker intended.

If you are having a cue repaired use a craftsman to the same standard as the original and be honest about the work done and who carried out the work.

So if I was to say offer x amount how much would u guys offer. I'm after something similar but only want it for pool obviously get a new shaft coz the splicing is horrendous would prob contact Jason himself for the new shaft.

What type of cue are you after? What specs suit you?

There will be plenty of quality cues out there for you without the hassle of new shafts etc so give us an idea of what your want and let us help with some suggestions

I want a small cue for pool about 52inch all the pubs round here have hardly any space around the table quite annoying especially as my local has this problem to. so without ruining a nice cue thought I'd get something already damaged similar to this.

I have a 52" cue that is just sitting around in amongst my donor cues waiting for me to butcher. It is nothing special but hand spliced and cheap
