My cue has a dent caused by the exact same thing. I don't think I could trust myself to do it. I might have to go on an adventure to find a cue doctor near me.

I used it on a pool table a couple times lol. Honestly though the dent is quite annoying. I'd rather have it fixed.

Best way i found was to put a wet cloth over the dent and then place a hot iron on for 30 seconds then remove and check, keep repeating till the dent virtually disappeared

                Just an update guys.

I ended up sending my cue to Reg Wright of http://www.wrightcues.co.uk/ - Through a recommendation. He resides in Hull and carries out plenty of repairs and also makes his own cues to any spec.

Clear communication and straight to the point is Reg. Sent my cue off to him and I had it back about 3-4 days later.

The work he's done is magnificent. The dent which was rather large, is completely gone. The new finish he has put on my cue is as smooth as.

So Reg Wright of Hull, is very highly recommended by myself.

                Phil.

I'll take some photos tomorrow mate. You couldn't really see the dent anyway, so I'd have to estimate,
