Even if it is 3 years I'm not that bothered as I've got some lovely cues already and I'm not in a major rush. I ordered a 1 piece ash ebony with an amboyna burr with a thick maple veneer, 57.5" 9.5mm 18oz 29.5mm butt diameter
Very nice list of cues there. Sounds a bit like Pottr on here who has also ordered from nearly all the top cue makers.

Was you fussy about the shaft requirements for your Parris? The design is similar to what I ordered minus the maple veneer, I asked for a long amboyna front splice.

I just asked for a stiff shaft with straight side grain and the final chevron not too close to the ferrule, what about you were you fussy?
      77 in a match, 97 in a line up

Not too fussy, just requested a shaft with 5-8 chevrons, evenly spaced. With a fairly stiff shaft but not too stiff that its lifeless. For me the balance was the main thing, I like a cue fairly forward balanced at around 17.5-18" from the butt end.

Stephen Maguir (one of the best players in the world), plays with a cue GBL C8 mapel. He has won a few tournaments. There are players who like to hvave a cue from Parris or other brands. They like to have a few cues and trying everything. There's nothing wrong with that. But if you buy a cue just to play Snooker ,,!!!
There are many other options for a good playing cue and reasonable waiting time.
Btw, in my opinion, a cue as a maximus ultimate, certainly plays better than a Parris ultimate. But that's just my opinion.

Pretty sure Pottr ordered a 1pc cue. He ordered a month before me so going by that logic, I should get an update on mine within the next month or two. Here's hoping anyway, but knowing my luck I'll be waiting until Xmas!

Yeah, I think it was about 18 months ago? Not too sure

                                Ultimate
                                One piece maple
                                19oz
                                58"
                                9mm ferrule.

Not sure what to do when it arrives. I'm not going to be switching from my TW.

Probably just sell it on to someone who doesn't want to wait 2 years for one from new.
Or just keep it? **** knows.
