I dont think they hate Parris, I am am sure they will also say that Parris does make good cues; but that you cannot say that Parris ARE THE BEST in the world (and especially just because ROS uses them :rolleyes) but that there are many other makers out there that make fantastic cues, just as good and often better than some Parris cues.
this is an old conversation that will probably never die

"...doubt anyone has..." you may not have, Pascale may not have, OK but I have tried many on that list (not all, yet :smile but others on TSF most certainly have...
For the ones that I have tried, I would say that Parris is up with at the top with many others as well at the top.
I have come across some Parris cues that are just awful - and I dont mean that they were not good for me, I mean they were terribly made and very poor finish. I have also come across some Parris cues that are just beautifully made.
I have a JP Special that I use for pool league and it probably is not the best cue made but to me it works
Saying that JP must be the best in the world just because most of the top 16 use them also is not evidence of the best cue in the world, this is because of a variety of reasons, which have been done to death in many other threads.
          peace

No sorry not having that...no one has used all, because there are many more cuemakers who he didn't mention...I think we have come away form original question, if you, are I were advising someone where to go to get a great cue where would it be? Yes there are many places you could go, and it wouldn't be a wrong choice. However if you do want the ultimate it would have to be Parris...but then budgets etc might say otherwise!

Actually there are people on here who would of tried all of those cue makers.
Parris is no where near the best

It is a question that has no answer, but you saying Parris is the best is just wrong and mis leading

@ cue boy...... 2 months ago you asked if Parris cues were any better than Peradon

"Ok, having used two Parris cues in past with varying results, i have took plunge and bought a peradon instead..whats general consensus on peradon? obviously cheaper to buy but is there really much different in quality??"

Now your saying there the best how have you suddenly decided that?

I have! parris is not the best. and the idea that one cue maker is always the best is just stupid. pro players tend to use the cuemaker that they live nearest to.
