  • BWL Hand Made Snooker Cues - Info needed

Hi guys, I've recently returned to playing snooker after a 7 year break and loving it more than ever. Around 15 years ago I was given a hand made BWL snooker cue as a christmas present. It was all sorted out via a family member who knew the cue maker at the time and I have no information on the company or the cue maker, therefore any info will help??? I cant find any information on the internet about BWL, therefore, has the company finished??

I understand at the time of making my cye the wood used for the splice was a rare exotic wood which had been given to the cue maker by a supplier as a trial piece, which is why I had a very good deal on it (Circa £250 - should have been more like £450-£600 aparantly??). I'd love to be able to identify the wood used if possible as its a fantastic cue and I'd never part with it, but I'd be grateful if anyone could help me out if I upload a few shots on here?? Is this facility available??

    Many thanks.

Isaacs, you'll need to have 10 posts before you get the facility to upload pictures. Welcome to the Forum.

that was my first thought but does not seem to fit.
Isaacs - yes you need 10 posts to use the TSF photo/attachment feature but you can always use photobucket (for free) and copy the IMG code to display your image in your post, with less than 10 posts
Good images of the badge and butt and cue as a whole will help its identification.
          cheers
          Up the TSF! :snooker:

No it's not a BandW cue. Thanks for the info re: pictures. Hopefully someone out there knows a little more about the company, cue maker.
