  • Old Cue Badges Wanted

    Hello Fellow Members!

I know this has probably been requested before, but does anyone have any old cue badges for sale (either round or rectangular)? I would prefer ones that are not from the 'Classic' cues, Ye Olde Ash, Burwat Champion etc. as I want to put one on an old unbadged cue that I have just bought for myself. If any of you have anything that you think I might like please pm me with info and price.

    Many thanks

      Hello Dean.
'Spose it would be if the intention was to sell the cue and 'trick' someone into thinking it was something other than what it was!.......however, that is not my intention I can assure you, it would only be for aesthetic purposes for my own self, as I believe a cue to look much nicer badged. Its a nice playing cue that I have just 'stumbled' across as sometimes is the case, so no its not naughty at all!!!!

      All the best

Most of the do start off with honest intentions buddy.
Against my better judgement I had two cues made up not long ago, just because they were nice playing cues sat around not doing anything. I sold them on as what they were and they sold cheaply, but one had since sold recently for £285 as genuine burwat champion, and another £255 as a genuine glover YOA replica cue! When they were sold original and correctly described, lets just say they didn't make the lowest of those prices combined.

          Hi GT
yep totally understand and appreciate your intentions but as PB has mentioned your intentions are not the problem but the next or the next down the line, and yes you may say that the cue will always be your, but say in the far, far, future you pop-your-clogs and your descendants find the cue and do a Google-search (maybe on PB's superb site) and they go "woohoo! lookie what we have here"

Clearly wrong. Bit like buying polo shirts from Primark and sticking Ralph Lauren or Lacoste badges on them.

Fair Point Fellas.....won't be doing that then! Hope I've not upset anyone by suggesting what I thought was a completely innocent thing for me to do. Sorry.

As DeanH said. Just get someone to make a unique badge to your own design.
