  • John Parris Master cue?

    Hi All

My mate got given an old cue, has a John Parris plate on the butt, called 'Master Cue' my question is, did Parris make a cue called 'Master Cue' its nothing fancy, Ash shaft, ebony butt, 3/4 length. Seems quite old but well made.

    Cheers

John Parris did make a model called " Master Cue " . It was machine spliced and was discontinued a few years ago. Hope this helps .

Yip he sure did. At the time they were the cheapest cue in the parris range i remember they were £150.
Not played for 3 years and itching for a game....11-3-2017.

Cool, cheers. Yeah it looks machine spliced which had me wondering if it was parris or not, seems it is. Nice cue to be given then!

Yes, I had one Parris master cue in my display cabinet, but it comes with splices, not ebony butt. Then I sent pics to Parris Cue in order to verify it's genuine, they replied they did put decorative splicing in the past, and it plays awesome.

Nice one, mates given a cue for nothing as a present, now wants to sell it once you have found out its history. Your story stinks of a con, just beware whoever buys this as there is something suspect about the story.

                          Cheers Ricky

I've been a member of this forum since 2007 and have sold cues for good money before, all without issue. My friend was given the cue, he would rather have the money, its now for sale.

I am actually quite intrigued on how I am trying to con? Can you let me know please? that would be great.

Oh BTW this is now on ebay and is up to £170

Sorry dude accept my apologies, I had just been reading posts about cons and money changing hands but no cues arriving. Had this in my head when I read this and put 1&1 together and made three. Should have looked further like how long you had been a member and the likes. Again please accept my apologies I am new to the forum myself and think its great and full of useful info.
                              Hope you sell the cue

                              Cheers Ricky
