Veneers

Hi all,

I've done a search and can't find what I'm looking for, wonder if you can help...

I'm after bright red dyed veneers, 24" long or more, and preferably slightly thicker than the normal 0.6mm although I'll settle for that if I absolutely have to.

Struggling to find anyone online who either do veneers in that sort of length or do anything thicker than 0.6mm.

Any suggestions of suppliers or do any of you cue makers have anything lying about I could have off you for the price of a few pints?

I looked for thick red a few years ago. Came up blank. Ended up dying a thick maple veneer. You've got to use a dye that really penetrates though , otherwise when you machine/plane/sand, it ain't red no more! ;-)

I've used originalmarquetry.co.uk before.
I know its only 0.6mm thick but they do red in 28" & 56" lengths.
