So do you have the cue in you grip hand level with your hip ,lay it on the line of aim , look down at the lines(as it's near the butt section as far as I can tell) taking your eyes off the line of aim, and if the lines are straight you drop down without moving the feet or if it's not do you shuffle around or move the head around while looking at the lines until they are one, then look back at the object ball and drop down, that can't be right or what, I don't understand how you use it, or do you have it out in front of you kind of sticking out of your belly button, and you sight down the lines and then walk in on that line, looking at the object ball? Or at the lines until you are past them and it's up to you to drop down straight from then on? Can you help explain how it's used Les, as you have seen it in action.

You basically lay the cue out in front of you on the line of aim and then you get your head over the cue until you see the broken lines become one then as you step into the line your head should not move and if it does the lines will become broken and you need to stand up and try it again. The idea behind this is to get you to walk in on the correct line. I met with Cliff for a coaching lesson and he brought it with him so I could try it. I was dead on with the lines on my first attempt but then comes the hard part taking the cue back and straight thru. Underline the straight thru, right Terry.

So you don't use it with a ball, it's just about practicing keeping the head online as you walk in, fair enough. Funnily enough it's the first part I find hard Les , not the cueing lol.

You use it for practice but also as your main cue. Stuart Bingham is using one. The only time you will see the lines on TV is when he is using the rest. Also by the splicing you can tell. There is three models Cliff had the middle of the line with him.

Thanks for that Les, I watched the video on it, I think it may help one part of the whole shot routine, as it will get you behind the line initially, but from there to potting the ball is a long long way apart, as the old saying goes, there's many a slip between cup and lip.

You got it and yes like I said before you have to pick the line and still stroke it straight.

It's worse than that IMO Les, stand behind the shot get the two lines inline, then as soon as you move forward to drop down any weight shift and bang you are offline ( I know this as I am still working on it) a mirror with a bit of string down the middle , can basically be set up for nothing and you can practice getting down keeping the line bang in the middle of the nose, or eyes, try it if you can it's amazing how much your head goes from side to side then back on to the line, it takes loads of practice to drop down straight from the standing position, it is really really hard, well for me anyhow .

These are the SightRight Riley's pool cues - they posted this pic on their twitter account this morning.
Presumably it'll come with instructions, definitely looks like they're going in to the 'gimmick market' to me though.

Yes it does look that way compared to the one Cliff had with real nice splices and ash shaft. These ones look like the ones you find in your average games room store.

Argos catalogue I reckon... Certainly not aimed at serious players in pool or snooker. Desperation?
