I was just Keeping a low profile more than Hiding.

Stayed away from new cues for a while, Just could not get the quality and price right.
However The O'min prices are now looking much better.

A real lack of quality in the £100-£180 area IMHO...

However ADR147 is spot on, a lot of fake cues on ebay with O'min badges.

                    HI...

For the Thai o'min Cues, the man called "O" (the Owner) he has a lot of experience on the wood. He mentioned that the Ash wood he had orderd from England on the beginning was 2" x 2" logs, but they where expensive and sometimes did not meet the actual Quality wanted. So later on he checked around the world and therefore got good contracts with wood from CANADA.

For the Different Cues (Hunter 1-5, Maximum etc..) is all according to the splice butt, as he always makes limited editions (45-60 Cues) per total lot available on wood.

                    Hope this helps.

That is Right, Just checked it. but notice they have just published the "Hunter 5" Series (here he says in thai) there should be enough wood (Mapple Bird Eye) to Make around 50-60.

Other Series use Different kinds of Woods. as i can see.

I have a Phoenix Master Cue 1 piece and i love it, easily the best Cue i have and plays beautifully.

I am looking to expand my cue collection and really after an original 3/4 Omin but am having trouble trying to get one here in Australia as my supplier does not stock them and there are so many fakes around. Google search is very hit and miss and i don't know if i am looking at a fake or not honestly!! A mate at the club has an original Omin and i have played with it and it is magnificent but he got it overseas and does not know of any suppliers here.

If anyone knows where i can purchase an original Omin here in Australia please let me know or if the price is right i would go second hand but the freight i think costs a heap to get it from the U.K to Australia coupled with the current dollar/exchange rate.
If it is called " Common sense " why is it so rare???

Surely this a fake one and not a real Omin.
