Here’s a picture of the badge. I went through some old emails and found that it was early in 2001 that my cue was made.

Sorry that I just back from Bangkok

This Handmade cue was bought from Dan Shelton of UK and then extended by adding 4 splashes of Tulip wood.
If you have doubt about the cue, i can provide you with the receipt from John Parris.

If you know Dan Shelton well enough, feel free to drop him a mail on regards to this JP handmade 443.
Check with him if it is true that ........ from Singapore buy the cue from him & asked him to send to John Parris for alteration.

Anyway, it doesnt really matters whether the cue is here or in Singapore. does it?
I m not in a hurry to sell.

I will contact DS and ask to assist in this cue validation
can I ask the timing of when you purchased this cue and when Dan sent it to Parris and when you received the cue?

I think DeanH's question re timing was directed to you, not something he is asking Dan S

Had a chat with Dan and he does have a recollection of this one.
                        1) The cue was via ADR (your were right ADR, you did sell this one ) as it needed a bit of tidying up and had a chip on the badge.
                        2) The cue was sent to John Parris and was rebadged and sent directly to the new owner, possibly Singapore but he cant remember that much detail.
Dan can also remember that the joint was not "standard" JP joint but it could have been replaced at some point.

Is this cue an ultimate standard or just classic standard, makes lots of different tho. Lol.

                              DeanH

Was there any reason for the change of the number from the top to bottom.

Too much trouble in validating the cue. I would imagine the same issue surfacing in future.

You gotta have some really deep pockets for that!

I wouldn't say fake, just too much ambiguity!
